Here is a plain-English path from "I need TABC" to a certificate employers can verify.
Before you start
- Confirm your employer wants seller/server certification (not only TRAD delivery, and not only the opioid education course)
- Have a working email address
- Plan about two hours for online coursework, plus time for the exam
- Budget $10.99 for course access here, plus a possible ~$3.25 registration fee
Step 1 Choose a seller/server course path
Training must run through a TABC-approved seller/server school. Request course access on this site ($10.99). We offer online TABC seller training and a path to certification.
Official provider context: https://www.tabc.texas.gov/services/tabc-certification/
Step 2 Complete the training and exam
Open the course link from your access email. Finish required modules. Take the exam. Follow any retake instructions shown in the course software.
Step 3 Get your certificate
After you pass, the course path issues your certificate. Keep a copy (PDF or print). For a duplicate of an original certificate later, TABC FAQs direct people back to the course provider they used, or to [email protected] with identifying details if they cannot remember the provider.
Step 4 Check status in Certificate Inquiry
Use TABC Certificate Inquiry with the details that page requests. Allow time after completion for the school upload before status appears.
Where our course access fits
We sit at Step 1: course access and guidance. TABC remains the official authority for rules, Safe Harbor, and Certificate Inquiry.
